I’ve been asked what I mean by a stream of consciousness writing. I mean awareness. I mean what you are seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling? What are you thinking?

By way of an example look below:

Expect little of God. Your whole life is a flicker of a shadow of a hummingbird's wing in flight. God is not interested in your problems. Get out there and do you job. A nanosecond, of bliss in a lifetime is enough. Bliss is not a hot tub. Don’t expect to be a pig in mud. There exists a place for regular periodic meditation.

I got a copy of this from a friend several years ago. I thought to share.

The IRS sent me a letter last Friday. They audited my return and denied two of my dependent deductions! I sent them the following letter:

You are responsible for your own personal relationship with God. In other words, you must put aside the fairy tale of God hovering above your shoulder. Put aside the idea of a constantly observing God. Put aside the idea of a bribable, appeasable God. Put aside the idea of a capricious and constantly meddling God. A God that will save you from yourself. A God that will save you from current events. The hardest idea to accept is, that God does not care about you while you are alive.

Comfort at your workstation, or office. Don’t make this mistake, I do stress using your time efficiently. Using “waste” time. Using “down” time. Using “dead” time. Writer’s do not need any additional excuses to “kill” any additional time. Get off your fundament. Pay attention to your work station chair. Adjust the light level of your monitor. Do your original work in a large font size. Make your work space equipment work for you.

Some folks want an interested, paternal God. A God who cares of His children. A God that pays attention to every tiny act and thought of every second of every day. This is a childish fairy tale. God does not care what happens to humans. What would convince God to change His mind and act to send another emissary to Earth? All the others had failed from Moses to John the Baptist. That was a plan that apparently does not work very well.

I’ve just finished a major writing project. A kind of writing that I’d never done before: I created a script for a DVD. This was a part of a larger project I served as Director.

The technology for production of such material is more available today than ever. More and more people are learning through the use of their own home computers and available software how to go about assembling a combination of still pictures, video, and sound tracks.

Article marketing is especially well suited for use by writers. Here are some compelling reasons to start writing and submitting articles to article directories:

In order to write, you must write. This not a puzzle. It is not a conundrum. It definitely is not an oxymoron. Simply, at some point, you must begin, like a kindergartner, to put beads on a string. Creation of a story by way of written language is accomplished with written words. You have been creating. That is the hardest kind of work. You need to recover from that hard work. While I use the word “write”, every author has the choice of how they will do their creative work.

I don’t know about you, but when I first try to think about a title for an article, my first effort is always a “Bleeh!” Which may not be a word, but does describe the result. Sometimes it is only a matter of a few minutes, and other times it can be days before a good title comes rising up into consciousness. I do know that every title needs something that attracts a reader, adds interest, has “zing”, and clearly has “POP”

Thank you for killing for all time the misconception that somehow Republicans had something over the Democrats in the field of Foreign Affairs. Thank you for also for killing for all eternity the misconception that the Father is like the Son. The tiny number of voters who chose to vote for you based on the idea that you would be able to tap the knowledge and expertise of Bush I have obviously found themselves adrift on an ocean of discontent.

Writer’s cramp, block, or an onset of fear of writing happens to all of us, even me, the loquacious one. The big mouth, the ever churning idea factory is temporarily stilled.

Sometimes the turning point is internal and due to ill health, nutritional problems, or just being “off your stride”. Not this time.

Sometimes it is external: the world becoming too much with us, or a series of events that suddenly greatly impose themselves upon you.

There are three themes to this article: relocating in retirement , writer’s cramp, and flashes of inspiration. One can lead to the other.

First, there was the flash. It came as a tiny moment of thought. It lasted only nano-seconds. And yet, when I sat down at the keyboard, I was able to grow this tiny seed of light into an 1100 word article very easily in just a couple of hours.

There I was, just going through my normal and usual getting the day started activities . . . when it hit.

So based on the recommendations made, it's time you move away from burnout and towards a feeling of enthusiasm.

As a command for an exercise in writing, writing about what you see, can have its perils. Yours might be a dull environment. You might feel dull. It might be a dull day. It is then up to you, the writer, to bring to that environment a degree of excitement and action. You must bring it to life to entertain your audience. You must convey emotion and the “vibes” of living interactions. Below is one of my interpretations, for 03/09/06.

I made an interesting find this morning while cleaning up one of these “messes” that grow ever larger, even when in plain sight on my desk. A story which I seem to have lost somewhere in the black hole of boxed storage, because I can’t find it on my hard drive. Therein lies a lesson for everyone. Never, never, NEVER completely destroy anything you write. Save everything to CD disks as simple text files. Back it up with hardcopy paper files. Back it up to another hard drive.

We enjoy God given free will so that we can make mistakes. So that in the end of the universe God will not. I assume that God does not want to make mistakes. He is perfectly willing to let you interact with evil for Him. God grants to you the power to choose. He guards your free will choices. He guards your ability to make decisions for yourself. God can learn nothing from you if He controls you. That destroys God’s Plan. Because that is always the way it has been is not an excuse.

During my “first” career, I always carried around the germ of the idea that I could write. After all, I was asking children to write for me. They were writing classroom assignments. They were writing things for me like letters, personal journals, essays, and short stories. I took a series of classes on how to help children write better. My germ grew a bit. It did not explode into an infection. Then a very interesting thing happened. . . personal computers, word-processing, and printers.

With the recent advent of June 6, (6/6/6) and the sudden appearance of news stories and TV programs about the number (numerology), the anti-Christ, and the Devil, I was recently asked by a reader of my book to explain again why I don't believe in Hell. The easiest answer is that I don't think God needs Hell. It was likely originally created by human beings as a prop useful in telling a campfire story. It wasn't much of a lie to start with, but by layering the story grew.

This may simply be a child’s way of arriving at “burn out”. It is mostly short term, and rare. Kids are joiners and followers. They buy into the plan of doing what we tell them to do in order “to grow up”, but once in a while questions arise. It may also simply be that a child also needs a vacation.

Now that George Bush has gotten total and absolute autocratic power to “disappear” anyone who simply disagrees with him, his policies, decrees, or his plans - when does the purge begin? Will you and yours be the targets of eraser teams or death squads? The Constitution is an inconvenience and nothing more than wishful thinking written upon an old piece of paper to these power addicts.

I do not believe Hell exists, except as I will define it later. God doesn't need Hell. Some people need it, psychologically. Most people don't need Hell. A few people are well served by Hell. By promoting Hell, they get theirs. Most of what most people "know" about Hell comes to us from imagination and works of non-divinely inspired fiction. Most of what most people "know" about Hell comes to us from imaginary FICTION. Hell does not exist. War does exist.

If there is something you did of which you are not proud, you get no chance to blame it on someone else. You get no chance make excuses. You get no chance to blame it on circumstances you could not control. This concept of religion can be seen as distant, difficult, and uncompromising. I do believe in God’s grace. I am not planning any competition for the “prerogatives” of organized religion. I am not attempting to deny God. I am not trying to found a new religion.

You must seek oneness with God, enlightenment, or nirvana within yourself. This is your “vision quest.” The truth of it is, that you will never know until you try for yourself. It may, after all, be an illusion, or a delusion. Being crucified, beheaded, or burned at the stake are particularly nasty ways to die. You might find yourself locked up in an institution, or medicated. You might find yourself wandering the streets a shopping cart. The name of this game is called persecution.

I was dreaming during my afternoon nap and my wife assures me that I was also snoring, “really sawing logs”. Psychologists tell us that our dreams are simply our brains trying to resolve conflicts. If that is true, I think I know the issues with which I was struggling, the things which generated this noise troubled dream. Immediately upon awakening, the dream and my answers still vivid, I began to write this material to further deal with the issues.

Is writing "what you know" always the best way. Maybe not, so here's an alternative.

We all have them. They are always unexpected. They cannot easily be planned for. They do not sneak up on you and leap into your life to bite your butt. They just appear quietly. They do not seem all that important at that time. It is like adopting a kitten. So little, soft and cuddly, and it purrs! And your life is forever different. Different from what it might have been. What are they? The moments when you make literally life changing decisions.

Creationism is the idea that suddenly God decided to Create Everything, and accomplished the job in one week. Counter that with the the scientific method. It does not rely on trust. Peer review is a world wide open season on every publication of findings and theory. God does not work by way of holistic instantaneous creationism. Nothing suggests that God is actively working toward stupidity. Everything suggests that God is actively working toward smartness and intelligence.

All of us find ourselves delaying doing what we really know we ought to be doing and really want to be doing more of: writing. Procrastination gets to all of us from time to time. It is a kind of fear of the keyboard. We want it, desire it, and yet we are afraid of it at the same time. Each of us deals with this phenomenon in different ways. As a writer, you need to employ emotion. You have to feel emotion. Emotion starts the words to flowing. Emotion is a direct connection with language

In another article on this website, I set out the most important rules of writing. I just don’t call them rules. Two are the use of “down” time and scraps of time. A point: the day after I wrote that article for this web site, I again found myself waiting in a parking lot for an hour and a half. With my trusty pen and 5 X 8 yellow notepad, all was not lost. In that time I created nine single spaced pages of preliminary notes. Notes that could become a sound beginning for a new novel.

The answer unfolds from the survival imperative. Clear perception, honest appraisal, learning, exhibit courage, responsiblity, reproduction, teaching, appreciate beauty & collaborative music, support your relatives, and support your society are the ten steps. You’ll note that there is not one negative in the bunch.

I just read the horrific news. Abortion ban passed in South Dakota. Are there any good people left in South Dakota? If there are, let us help them leave. Let us begin by encouraging them to move somewhere else. Let us begin by encouraging every woman in the state to simply leave and not return. These characters have spent way too much time alone out in the grasslands with the sheep and cows. These characters have spent way too much time with their head deep in the whiskey barrel.

How to get started in writing…write about what you know. Go back into your own life, remember with clarity. Remember your thoughts and feelings and experiences. This is what writers do. They call upon their own experiences, their feelings, and they use this material to tell stories. Here is one of mine.

Just before my senior year I high school, my parents moved to Southern California, into the LA basin area. During the settling in period, they rented a cottage in Lawndale.

The Pennsylvania incident where five very young Amish school girls were murdered in their school room by a deranged gunman has again pulled out the very worst of propaganda to service a helpless point of view. “There’s nothing that we could have done to prevent this kind of incident from happening.” What utter bull manure! Yes, there are many things that could be done to prevent school shooting incidents of this type from happening. Some are simple. Many are not simple, but doable.

You have heard it a thousand times. It is a lie! A picture is worth a thousand words. It is a lie! No way could that idea even be remotely true. There is no way that some digital image that took the consideration, thought process, and decision powers of a moronic gnat is worth a thousand of my carefully crafted and chosen words. A single image conveys the same message as my thousand pearls of wisdom? One takes learning, skill, and considerable practice. The other takes only cash.

God is not very interested in us humans. Yes, we are indirectly His creation. Yet, we are only a tiny portion of Life. He Creates, changes non-life to Life. When He does, He creates a robust, persistent, tough, adaptable Creation. God Creates for Success. Success at What? Answer: Living. Life, growing, spreading out, changing and adapting to new and different environments, spreading from one planet to another across intergalactic distances.

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

You and your fellow travelers admit to “some mistakes” and keep pointing to the “positive results” as if that was sufficient excuse for your own undisciplined, bullying, and morally unacceptable behaviors. It is as if you want and expect people to love you and trust you. Why in God’s name should they? You are not deserving of trust. Any trust and goodwill that you may have accrued in the past is long gone. It will take many years to regain it to the same degree that formerly existed.

Exploring understanding the nature of God is usually done from the pulpit. Few questions are welcome at that time. Indeed, even then, almost always, church leaders choose the opposite track. God isn’t enough? Just add Jesus. That isn’t enough? Add The Holy Spirit. That isn’t enough? Anthropomorphize God. Add confusion, muddle details, and make exorbitant claims.

What might be Man’s role in relation to God and God’s unknown final Plan? We are only one of the many life forms on this planet. We may well be God’s experiment with intelligence. The simple answer is that probably we humans are simply just another species, one of God’s many animal experiments, and He’ll see how we turn out.

Upon viewing an article in a national magazine that called a book written by a blogger a "blook", some questions came floating in from the black recesses of my mind.

God created all the stars. Imagine being there to see all the stars of the universe twinkle into existence like an enormous string of Christmas tree lights. Why do we have eyes? To see light. Maybe the ancient Egyptians were not so dumb in their worship of the sun? Why is it that human beings have a natural affinity for sunshine, sunlight, and the warmth of sunlight? How is all food created? By sunlight. So, how does God feed us? He makes us sweets.

They act like it sometimes.

I took a couple of courses from a professor from Oregon, whose name, I am sorry, I do not remember.

He described children as little alien energy suckers. His theory was that they reach out to feed on adult energy like deep sea giant squid with long tentacles, drive hooks into your flesh, and then settle down to suck out your emotional energy.

False religious leaders will try to tell you what to think. False religious leaders will try to tell you what to do. False religious leaders will will hold out their hands expecting you to place your money in their hands. This is how you will know them. Observe them with open eyes and a closed mouth. Keep the lock on your wallet firmly closed and the key in another pair of pants. They are the wolf in sheep’s clothing. False religious leaders do not care about your soul.

Here are seven good reasons to give yourself a pat on the back.

Remember the moral majority. Remember focus on the family, family values, moral authority, and God’s Gift of the Devine Right of Kings to the Republican Party to lead the nation on all issues dealing with morality, sex, and protecting the homeland.

Hubris. Feet of clay. So much for protecting children. So much for telling the truth. So much for attempting to re-write history. So much for homeland security. This is the downfall of a bunch of hypocrites.

There is today a generally world wide accepted idea that people in a country have the government they want and deserve. That when they deserve and desire a change strongly enough, they will do whatever it takes to get what they want in the way of a new style of government. It is also understood that the incumbent government will resist any changes with the full force of police, the courts, and military power. Most revolutions are achieved by means of means of physical force.

Evil exists. Random chance events of nature. Chance events that are the result of free will choices of humans. Now apply these words: like, limits, happy, fear, misunderstood, and control to yourself. Are you wearing blinders? Do you try to deny God? God is neither good nor evil. Why should God “spoil” you? Why should God desire a rotten soul?

I was lucky as a child. My family only moved four times during my school years. The critical years between 2nd grade and 8th grade were spent in only one location. Millions of children are not so lucky. They must deal with repeated, frequent moves by their family. There is a reason for the cliché about “army brats”. Frequent moves do effect children. The real question is, what can a parent do to lessen these effects?

How does God make the Universe work? It is called physics and chemistry, and He created it. The smartest of us can be challenged, study, and learn from it. To learn of God. To know God. Knowledge of God is not found by spending time on your knees. Knowledge of God is found by scientific study of God’s Universe. How does God make His created life on Earth work? It is called evolution and He created it so the smartest ones of us could be challenged, study , and learn from it.

What some people want is a return to indoctrination of religious values. The problem with this in a pluralistic society is, which religion? Prayer has never left schools. Children do pray before tests. Test-taking is a skill. It can be taught, learned, practiced, and be readily applied. Many students don’t even do the simplest of study plans. My Dad was going to help me learn how to learn. I learned that if I spent enough time at it, I could learn.

I don't usually spend much time worrying about religion, and God, and my relationship to Him. I thought I'd resolved my concerns a long time ago. I thought I had an understanding with God, and we didn't bother each other very often, or very much. I don't know about God, but I was comfortable with the arrangement.

Every school has at least one. Our little country school had it’s as well. Dewhit was ours. Not because we wanted him, but because he lived in our community. Dewhit was known for his sudden outbursts. Dewhit was well on his way toward being our elementary school tough guy, obviously preplanning his stay in the State Pen, a bully, volatile, and the most unfortunate kid in our school - whenever he was there.

This is a short read in terms of the number of words involved. Please take the time to think about every sentence. Each one is important and full of meaning. This is an eighteen year plan. Every step is used every year, but changes as your child changes. Your child is unique, your plan for that child must also be unique to that child.

What do we owe God? Nothing. This not a question of debt. You haven’t borrowed anything from God. You have not run up a “tab” at some kind of celestial “company store”. You didn’t ask God for life. Your parents made that decision for you. You didn’t ask God for “soul”. You didn’t ask God for a portion of free will. These things were imposed on you.
Free will allows you both rejection and refusal. When you are given a free gift, you do not have a reciprocal obligation to pay it back.

The laws of society are a potpourri of historical remnants. The laws of society are also a tossed salad. God's religious laws are His Natural Laws. God has laws for living things, and the most important of these is the imperative for survival. Free will is the second level of God's laws for living things, as this conforms to His Purpose. Prostitution has been widely encouraged many times by organized religions.

If you've read some of my other articles, it might be possible to think that I am not aware of an author's need for physical comfort. Comfort at your workstation, or office. Don't mistake, I do stress using your time efficiently. Using "waste" time. Using "down" time. Using "dead" time. Writer's do not need any additional excuses to "kill" time. We are already too, too efficient at that already. I think all of us can agree to that.

In an article directory, essentially you put forth copyrighted free standing samples of your work. This could be a first chapter, or a segment of a story. It is an especially valuable way to reinstate material languishing in the closet, unseen, and lost forever. Unless you free it and edit it for the world to see. The important part is that each article must stand alone, and by itself. Your article is then part of the public domain available for use with copyright credit and attribution.

Everyone who is on the long, slow glide path toward “the Golden Years” needs to plan ahead in many ways. One that is rarely talked about is the emotional-sense-of-self that simple activities adds to a person’s life. My lifetime of observation is that a person who retires to a rocking chair dies mentally or physically very soon afterwards. The active ones with various interests stay around much longer. This test is intended to help people do some simple planning for their future.

Nagging is perhaps as instinctive as breathing. The problem is that it just does not work. Nagging is really a kind of “noise”, “a space filler”, used to fill quiet times when nothing else of interest is to be found to talk about. Nagging however builds in an emotional content that can get in the way of good teaching between parent and child.

Kid Driving You Crazy? Problems at Home, or School? Welcome to the joyous world of parenting relationships. Kids have no "owner's manual", or "repair manual". Each child is a "one-of-a-kind" product, frequently created without preplanning, by a committee of two in a hurry, without any "driver's training". When dealing with children, there are No Canned Answers. Nothing overcooked, and surrounded by a steel boundary. You need flexibility when working with kids. You have to be nimble.

There is no form of supplication that can get God’s attention. God simply does not care enough about humans to pay attention to such trivialities. The line where pagan religion ends and our “modern” religion begins is vague. Celebrations, rites, and supplications are acts of organized religion. These actions are promoted to seek to control human groups. They do this for the benefit of the religious leaders. Religious leaders do use their intellect for their own purposes.

For 791 years, ever since King John was forced to sign the Magna Carta at Runnymede, the crown jewel of English common law and later our own system of law under the U.S. Constitution, habeas corpus, has reined supreme. Now, because of their unnecessary fear of a few ragtag terrorists, a disbelief in, and an unwillingness to follow the Constitution, Republican lawmakers have overturned the single most important protection of law available to our citizenry.

Dawg, I remember. I’ve had a dozen since, but none taught me the lessons that he did. Maybe that is because he was the first “pet” that was really “mine”. Some people are examples of animal magnetism. I, on the other hand, am an animal magnet. They gravitate in my direction. I am not complaining. Life is infinitely richer with God’s creatures a part of it.

Militant evangelical fundamentalists of whatever religion are dangerous people. They are ignoring what is good about religion. Killing, hurting, destroying, and causing schism is more important to them than the religious message. Protestant militant evangelical fundamentalists wear the same stripes as Islamic militant evangelical fundamentalists. Both are willing to violently attack people for political power. Both are willing to use government to force their religious laws on everyone else

I’ve been doing some serious thinking lately. I am very concerned with the paths all too many “Christian” leaders are obviously following. From my perspective, many of these purported “Christian“ “leaders” are in fact false Christians. Their public statements, actions and activities have little or nothing to do with the message from Christ I read in the Gospels of the Disciples.

All of our lives contain what my father called “churn”. Churn is any and all activities which may, but more often do not, support our main life, work, or professional objective. Churn has as its net effect the taking away of time from that main principal activity. Some parts of churn are necessary: sleeping, eating, personal care and maintenance, interactions with others, paying bills, meetings, doctor’s appointments, and keeping informed.

This is a serious matter. This is a cry for help. Either there has been something like a family, or personal move that would cause such a circumstance; or there is another crisis with which you must deal. You must help your child.

Every year we are again startled at the incidence of major school violence somewhere in the U. S. Each time, the after investigation comes to the conclusion that the perpetrator was either a bully, or more likely, the victim of a bully. So bullies are not a little. or minor, problem. Especially when you might be attending the funeral of your child because of one.

Generally, sin is a transgression of a religious law made up by humans. This is the lowest level of sin. Sin is a deliberate disobedience. You have to know it is a sin, and do it anyway. You have to choose to sin. I am only concerned with the higher level of religious sin. The higher level of religious sin is that behavior which knowingly and deliberately interferes with God's Plan. It is our duty to follow those laws and rules.

There are only 971 days left to painfully endure before the incompetent administration of the George W. Bush Presidency comes to a lingering, crawling, whimpering, and unbeloved close.

The latest hoorah about the US Government tracking large financial transactions is much ado about nothing. First, the government has been doing this for many years. It is one of the methods used to track money laundering activities of organized crime. It really has not had much effect as the intelligent criminals simply found another way to transfer funds out of sight of law enforcement.

Cutting the foreskins from the penises of infant male humans will not affect God. God will not look more favorably upon a child so mutilated. Circumcision is a con job. Circumcision serves no useful purpose. We only need to teach male children to clean their penis. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. A clean penis is Godly. Nothing you can do, or say, will affect God. God does not listen to the childish whimpering of billions of spoiled brats.

Why is it that lengthy exposure to nudity decreases prurient interest and obvious signs of lust? Concealment increases prurient interest. Why are American women are more interested in artificial breast augmentation and new styles of lingerie? How did we become “The Fat Americans”? Simple, we lost the incentive to be “skinny Americans”. If we really wanted to reduce sexual activity, and reduce the national girth, we would have laws that required nudity and the wearing nose plugs.

God is dead. The whole idea is and was dumb. The real question is not whether God is dead. The question is, is He alive? Is God alive in any sense in which we humans could quantify, or could measure. Is God alive in any sense in which we humans could detect? This is likely doubtful. And, in fact, God may be so disinterested in us as individuals of our species that He could make very sure that we could not detect Him. How do you define lifeand death? Especially as it pertains to a Deity?

To commit suicide is, at least, slightly arrogant. God may decide you have not learned enough. God might very well send you right back to try life again. Laws against suicide are based on politics. Even Moses didn't try to proscribe that way out. Today, we force people into death by cop, or faked "accidents". In today's crowded world, we do not need the extra people. It makes sense to have a quiet, honorable way out without a sanity test, and an extremely protracted delay.

"Spreading Democracy" is “W”’s latest lame excuse for getting us into a war in a country where we don’t belong. It is more home grown, domestic, political marketing bullshit.

First was WMD’s. There were no WMD’s.

Second was al-Qaeda. al-Qaeda hated Saddam. It was mutual. Both would have rather eaten rat poison than even talk to each other.

The problem with the examination of the God-Man relationship is that only one side of the relationship is available to us for study. Everything we think we know about God and our relationship to Him is based on underlying assumptions, speculations, history, belief, faith, hope, and fear. Man(kind) cannot ever “know” God except in terms that are understandable to us as human beings.

We humans seem to desire above all else to have an image of God. Our imagination is limitless. Many animals have been chosen as images of God. This happened all over the world. It is still happening today. We just use the images differently. We use these animal symbols because they help us identify with the teams, or products, or Gods.

I’m tone deaf, can’t sing, and couldn’t carry a note with a tin bucket.
Nor, am I any kind of poet, but words - those I can string together . . .
Then I change and exchange ‘til they seem to fit in some sensible fashion.
And what’s my point? Simple. Writers write. Write about what you see. Write your interpretation, or your personal vision. And don’t forget to have something else to write on besides a nearly empty box of Kleenex®.

They act like it sometimes.

I took a couple of courses from a professor from Oregon, whose name, I am sorry, I do not remember.

He described children as little alien energy suckers. His theory was that they reach out to feed on adult energy like deep sea giant squid with long tentacles, drive hooks into your flesh, and then settle down to suck out your emotional energy.

Does God exists in all human beings? God gave you free will. God gave you a brain with the ability to think and reason. Know yourself. We need the experience of death. To understand death, you must actually touch the corpse. You must feel the absence of life and soul. You must actually touch the corpse before you can truly value life. This gives you the opportunity to value life. This one idea alone is the best argument I know of for the strict regulation of small firearms.

It would be helpful to read Dawg, Part 1 and Part 2 also on this site, but it is not absolutely necessary. Dawg, had one habit that my Dad enjoyed. He would chase after our car whenever we left the house. Not other cars, just our car. When he got tired, he would go back home and be waiting for us to arrive when we got there. God exists. This statement of faith is the ultimate assumption. This assumption may simply be an egomaniacal self conceit centered around the idea that “I”, a human being, am so “special”. It is not possible for me to exist without there being an all-powerful God that “made me”. It is an unsupported and unstable ego platform. It is only a small step to an egomaniacal anthropomorphous God. That kind of God is more palatable or acceptable to the vast majority of humans.

There must have been a time when only God existed. God began to Examine Himself and Questioned Himself. God Conceived and Created the Totality of the Universe. I choose to believe that God did not create the Universe out of ennui or simple boredom. The universe was not uniquely created only for human beings. This is just human ego centrism. What you see of God’s creation is His creation as expressed through your eyes. Do not deny God.

I'm trying to deal with a particularly difficult kind of "sin". Human beings made it up. Then very skillfully hid the evidence. An ill-defined "miasma of general, just normal human nastiness.
It compounds the layered misconceptions about God. It gets your attention, and sets you up for the sale. Why does something that supposedly is so great for the congregation members have to be sold like potato chips, soap flakes, and used cars?

When I was a Junior in high school (1957), I watched my older friends (Seniors) go out and within a week, or two, get a job. That job was collateral enough for many to purchase a car, get married, and some were well on their way to parenthood and home ownership when I restarted school the next Fall. The overwhelming majority of married women had a non-wage paying job of homemaking and rearing children. It was considered important work in those ancient days. This was the “middle class” ideal.

Many parents are frustrated with their public school. They know they need help, and the seems like the local school is helpless and wants to lay the whole problem on the parents. The school is not helpless. It is not focused. Your job as a parent is to focus their attention on your child beyond a general “a problem exists” level. Old Bars was gettin’ old. He wasn’t very big, but he was smart, and rawhide tough. When we got him, he was Little Bars, and had stripes on his legs. He’d been a pack horse at one time, scrounging for his feed and keepin’ his rightful place in the string. We’d turned him into a saddle horse for the kids. He didn’t complain. Kind of moseyed along, enjoyed the better eats, and all the kid’s attention.

Faith is being able to see God’s works around us. The mystery is our unwillingness to see what is before us. Faith is dealing with the hard realities. God insists these are more important than our wishes. Faith is a refusal to deny God. Faith is a refusal to deny God the Power to Do It His Way. Faith in God is based on the scientific method and is subject to proofs of sense and reason. Faith is believing Christ’s words, “Nothing is impossible to you.” Faith is confidence in God’s Plan.

What do you really want as a parent? Simple control? Respect? Proof that you are louder, meaner, and controlling? A stronger child-adult? Win the current battle, or the long term war?

Life on Earth is short. Only your soul is eternal. We humans might have a life span of a century. This tends to cause us to think short term. To never question your perception of your relationship with God is sinful. Giving up the opportunity to be free of organized religious repression is sinful.

Just as was expected and predicted in previous articles, we now have before us the first prime example of a desperation measure by the George W. Bush owned and controlled Krovian Twist & Spin Trust of Dirty Tricks: the “compassionate conservative” President George W. Bush proposing that a permanent state of discrimination be written into our Constitution against a minority of our citizens. The real question is, of course, who will be next?

Isn’t it time for the citizens and countries of the world to take their heads out of the latrine and see things as they really are? Our Western civilization has had a religious and cultural war declared against it. That war has been going on for over fifty years. This is not a nice clean intellectual pretend war where no one ever gets hurt. This is a brutal war with guns, RPG’s, high explosives, and idiots running around with automatic weapons and swords.

The key point for all that we do, is to take personal responsibility for what we do. Despicability does not necessarily make a sin. It might not be a sin against God. God doesn’t demand a lot from you. God doesn’t prohibit a lot to you. What is sin? Especially if God is not going to punish you for your sins? Sin is that which interferes with God’s Plan. God’s Laws are provable and observable. God’s laws are not interpretations by some human.

Evil much more commonly results from deliberately hurtful actions by people. It is their actions that matter. It is the job of society to punish these persons for their hurtful actions. Society is not being protected to do its job safely. That job is to develop the economy and allow the safe rearing of children. Today’s prisons seem to be more like advanced training camps for stronger, smarter, more skilled, super criminals. Much of crime has become a free enterprise economic system.
