We enjoy God given free will so that we can make mistakes. So that in the end of the universe God will not. I assume that God does not want to make mistakes. He wants to be Right, to be the Truth. He is perfectly willing to let you, His tool, lead the way. He is perfectly willing to let you go first. He is perfectly willing to let you go on point. He is perfectly willing to let you take the first shot. He is perfectly willing to let you interact with evil for Him. That is what you are here for. “Now, hop to, double-time, soldier.” God grants to you the power to choose. He guards your free will choices. He guards your ability to make decisions for yourself. It is in His best interests to do so. Free will decision making is the inheritance of existence, of being alive. Your ancestors were either lucky, smart, tough, or fast. They might even have cheated to gain advantage over others. If God ever helps us, He helps those who think for themselves. In fact, God has already done His part. He did the tough stuff. He got you here with your brain and intellect. Now do your stuff. Do your thing. Think and choose. Free will and making choices is the core of the energy supply for an individual’s decisions. The decisions that cause actions and reactions in others. The actions and reactions that cause expansion of learning. God can learn nothing from you if He controls you. You must make your own decisions. You must make your own mistakes. You must suffer the consequences. You must enjoy the rewards of your decisions. God can learn new things from this activity. The most obvious examples of denial of free will are incarceration and slavery. Every society and culture around the world has experienced some form of slavery at some time. Sometimes it has persisted in specific locations for hundreds of years. It does today, if you care enough to look for it. There is free will in the universe. Otherwise, existence would be meaningless. Predetermination makes variety impossible. Predetermination invalidates evolution. Predetermination destroys God’s Plan. We would not learn. God would not grow from our experiences and knowledge. God wants you to use your free will. You cannot turn over your decision making to the “animal” part of your brain. You must do something besides just “feel”, or emote. You are required to think. Think about how you feel about issues. Think about conditions, ideas, and “the way things are”. You need to question your own feelings. Why do you feel this way? Is it right? Why? What told you it was right? Just because your Uncle Ferd* was an idiot and said that it was so doesn't make it so. That doesn’t mean that you have to continue to be an idiot, too. Just because that is always the way it has been, is not an excuse for continued stupidity. Think for yourself. Think about every group of people that have been abused because they had been conquered in battle, or were different in some way. Remember that at one time, Germans and Britons were prized slaves in Rome. Prized because of their blue eyes and red and blond hair. And if they were prized and expensive, what do you think the Romans did with them? Invite them to tea? Every group of people on the planet has at one time or another been enslaved. Some several times. Does that make it right? Is slavery God’s will? Why are ex-slaves discriminated against? Is it because the ex-owners want to continue to “feel” superior? Think about how people in the South felt when the North sent former slaves into battle during the latter part of the Civil War. Think ahead of time, so that you will be prepared to act. Act in the way you want your free will to be exercised. Once you have formed an emotional feeling about any subject, you will be prepared. Prepared to act according to the decision you made ahead of time. This gives you the advantage. The advantage of making your decisions while you are calm. Thoughtful decisions made ahead of necessity can consider many sides of an issue. You will only change from these calm decisions slowly. You will only change with powerful inputs to change your inner mind to newer decisions. This way of using passion is your choice. This is how you can use your free will. * A fictional name, bearing no resemblance to any person, living, or dead.

His pithy comments and suggestions for a return to a God-centered personal religion will interest everyone.
