Understanding the Nature of God, Part V Physics, Chemistry, Evolution, and God's True Creation

By: George Wallace

How does God make the Universe work? It is called physics and chemistry, and He created it. The smartest ones of us can be challenged and study it. Learn from it. To learn of God. To know God. Knowledge of God is not found by spending time on your knees. Knowledge of God is found by scientific study of God’s Universe.

How does God make His created life on Earth work? It is called evolution and He created it so the smartest ones of us could be challenged and study it. Learn from it. To know ourselves. To learn of God. To know God. All of science is the search for knowledge of God.

All of science is the search for understanding of the natural universe that God created. God created the Great Puzzle. He gifted us with hands to manipulate with, eyes to discern with, and a huge brain with which to learn and store information. Remember just because you've built a soap box skateboard car and given it a tremendous shove down the hill does not mean that you really know what the ride will be like until you experience it for yourself. God uses us to gain that experience. He created the Universe, and started it with a Bang, and we lucky humans get to enjoy the thrill of the ride of our life.

How does God use all life on Earth in His final Plan? Just how do you propose to escape? Do you want out of the game? There are no time outs. If you are alive, you are in the game whether you want to be, or not. The alternative is to be dead. Life is. Life is living. God created life. God uses life to study life. You are on the gameboard. God is rolling the dice.

Why should God treat Man differently from the way He treats other species? He doesn’t. Why should He? You prove that He does treat Man differently than other species. I cannot think of a single example of how Man as a species is treated differently from the treatment afforded to animals. We are born, we live, we procreate and raise young. We teach our young to survive, and we die. How is that different from an aardvark? Or, a yak?

It Is God's game, and God's rules

What are God’s rules for us to follow? We don’t know. He doesn’t have any and He doesn’t give them to us if He does. Did you get a postcard I didn't? I infer by observation of animals, other species, that raw survival is the only requirement. I infer by observation of animals that if you die as an individual, you are out of the game, and your genes are lost.

That doesn’t mean that you cannot choose. God gives you the advantages of good eyesight and hands, and brain power and intelligence to play the game. God gives you the right to choose. God handicaps you with weak claws and teeth, a relatively poor olfactory sense, and small size modified by sexual dimorphism. We call the game, Life.

The game of Life is played on the gameboard of Earth. Live and play the game. Die and you’re out. Broke. Busted. Gone. Fold your cards and leave the table. If enough players, individuals die, the species loses and is out of the tournament.

What does God want from us? He wants us to breathe, eat, drink, sleep, and live as long as possible by escaping our enemies that want to eat us. He wants us to escape our enemies even if it is only bacteria that desire to eat us and not our next door neighbor. He wants us to have sex on a regular and frequent basis. A human with offspring is expected to teach baby humans to survive. If you can get that done, He expects you to experience life, learn, make choices, and alter your behavior based on what you learned. At the end we die.

The rest we must infer and have hope. The rest is up to God. I believe God has a Plan for us after we die.

His pithy comments and suggestions for a return to a God-centered personal religion will interest everyone.
