Why would God want to be mysterious? He doesn’t have anything to hide. God is not ashamed of Himself. God is right out there in plain sight. God is visible if you have eyes to see, the will to learn, and some intelligence to figure out the interlocking puzzle. The real problem all along has been people too lazy to think for themselves. The real problem has been people too lazy to question for themselves. The real problem has been people being too lazy to see past what they are being told, to learn, and letting others do their thinking for them. God, and His Plan, is just not all that complicated. God displays His Plan, His system of life openly for all to see and understand. His Plan surrounds us everywhere. The details are fun to figure out, like a 1,500 piece fully interlocking jigsaw puzzle. Where is the best place to hide something? Answer: In plain sight. People, being normally human, are just naturally contrary. People will not want to believe their eyes. People are suspicious. People will want to believe that somehow Natural Law does not apply to them. People would rather believe some mountebank charlatan. That is an obvious lie, but no matter. People would rather believe some criminal. People would rather believe some criminal priest. A priest that is feeding them a line of foolishness for his own benefit. As opposed to believing their own eyes. Why is it that the fish sees only the worm, and not the hook and line? Given the arguments and assumptions above. Using the simplest reasoning I’ve been able to figure out. Assuming that I’m not assuming too much. Then starting with the very concept of God at the Beginning, God just has got to be using the K.I.S.S. principle. K.I.S.S. equals: Keep It Simple, Stupid. The rest just sort of falls into place as you work through the process of answering the questions, Why? Why? Why? God has a purpose for you. His purpose is not one where He will be worried about your happiness. Your happiness has never been the question. People are not here and alive to be happy. Happiness is not part of the game plan. You are here to live. You are here to survive. A survival that includes having children, and grandchildren. If it turns out that you are happy, great! However, human beings are here to learn. Human beings are here to experience. Human beings are here to possibly suffer. Human beings are here to also enjoy life in all its forms and experiences. We must do this in order to fill our individual "paint balls" of God’s soul. He gave it to us at birth until such time as He, God, decides in His own good time that He will call us back to Him. He will collect your soul. God will learn from you. You have a God-given purpose in life which most likely is not a purpose that you selected for yourself. God’s purpose opens the door to incredible human adventuring, joy, suffering, pain and death. Your problems are not God’s concern. He cares nothing about the pain and suffering and death of human beings. Do you cry, moan, weep, and mourn when one of your tools, say a chisel or screwdriver, breaks? Do you cry if it is bent? Do you cry when it wears out? Do you cry when it loses its edge? No. At most you experience momentary slight regret that a good tool has worn out, or is no longer serviceable and must be replaced. Then you make a note to pick up a new one at the hardware store on your next trip to town. Similarly, God makes choices and decisions about His tools. And like a tool that has lost its edge, we can be returned to the workshop for resharpening. We can be cast aside as useless. We can be placed on a storage shelf as inappropriate for the task at hand. Or having become a favorite tool in God’s toolbox, we can be constantly in use for God’s many tasks. You are God’s tool. This is your most important life task. It is a task hidden inside the imperative to survive. When the lion is close behind, you leap very hard for that tree branch. You don’t worry about spraining a muscle, or a bruised foot. You leap as hard and as high as you possibly can. If the lion catches you, you were a poor tool. If you make it, you throw rotten fruit at the lion. You give the lion a good “talking to”. You explain to the lion that his parents had not been married. You tell him that you are a good tool of God. It is ridiculous to believe that God cares about your suffering and pain. A better way to think about your relationship with God is to be a better tool for God. Learn. Be sharp. Be strong and hard to break. Be prepared to do the unexpected. Like a screwdriver used to open a can of beans, or to open a can of paint. Or, to leap very hard for that branch. Live, love and enjoy life. To do so is God’s Plan for you. Have sweaty, loud, satisfying sex with a willing, loving partner as often as you both shall decide. To do so is God’s Plan for you. Learn all of your life. To do so is God’s Plan for you. Act honorably by making your own decisions and follow through with courage, doing as you decided to do. To do so is God’s Plan for you. To love and teach your children the Way of God, the Purpose of Life, and how to live the Good Life. To do so is God’s Plan for you. For humans, where there is no love, there is no God. Where there is no God, how can there be love? God is Love, and He is everywhere.

His pithy comments and suggestions for a return to a God-centered personal religion will interest everyone.
