Priests in Sheep’s Clothing

By: George Wallace

False religious leaders attempt to steal with misdirection and quick words. A slight of hand performance while you dutifully look on like a dumb domesticated food animal. They are the wolf in sheep’s clothing. They are attempting to steal your free will. They are attempting to steal your wealth.

Eventually they want to control of your soul. The soul, that part of God with which you alone are entrusted.

False religious leaders do not care about your soul. The proof is their own behaviors. How many Catholic parents are now comfortable with allowing their parish priest unsupervised contact with their children? How many Catholic parents are now comfortable with the bishop or cardinal that sent them their priest? The proof is in how they try to tell you what to think.

The proof is in how they try to tell you what to do. How many examples can you remember of fire and brimstone preaching, breakaway ministers that had as their goals the establishment of pluralistic marriages (or multiple sexual partners) as their real goal? The proof is in how they try to tell you how to live your life. It is your life to live. God gives you this task. You must decide for yourself how to live it.

Any person who steals is a thief, a criminal. Associate with leaders of organized religion, as you would with any group of pickpockets. Associate with leaders of organized religion only warily, as a newborn lamb lying down among starving wolves. Associate with leaders of organized religion as little as possible. Associate with leaders of organized religion as infrequently as possible.

Be especially wary of any religious leader who has no income outside of religious activities. Anyone who convinces you to give him money to your detriment is a professional thief. He, or she then only has one source of income. You are that source. You are the target from whom he seeks new funds today.

Priests and ministers eagerly choose the appellation "shepherd" for "their flocks". Have you ever taken time to really think about what that really tells you? The one time they are honest, and you can't bring yourself to even think about what this message really says? What does a shepherds do? Guards the flock. Drive off predators. Find good graze and water. Yes. Those are parts if the job description. That is the Public Relations part. The part with the photos of cute little lambs playing in green grass.

Shepherds also help with birthing of new lambs. They medicate the sick and sew up injured. They also skin lambs born dead and put the skins on orphaned lambs to try to convince a ewe to accept a lamb not her own. A kind of foster parent service. Shepherds also eat lamb and mutton and feed it to their dogs. These are usually animals injured beyond hope of recovery, and animals with poor conformation. Shepherds have also been known to have sex with their ewes, as discovered in the past by sheep carrying VD. Shepherds have been known to take part in shearing their sheep. Clear? Shepherds also cull their flocks, deciding which animals go to slaughter. Who knows them better?

Anything sound familiar?

His pithy comments and suggestions for a return to a God-centered personal religion will interest everyone.
