Enjoy God Like A Chocolate Milkshake

By: George Wallace

Truth has no beginning and no end. It is the alpha and the omega. Truth exists, like love, and life and death, and fire and rocks and water. Truth is the One. Truth cannot be easily examined with words. However, you must investigate Truth with Questions, using words and language.

Language determines thought. Denial of the ability to Question is to deny Truth. The use of, and study of language is a worthy goal. Study to gain the knowledge and power of words to Question is a worthy goal. Study can lead to the Experience of Truth. You have to find the words that give meaning to you. You have to find the words that allow you to transcend language and experience, both Truth and God. To know Truth is to experience God. Nothing else will do. You must experience God.

Look at the above paragraph and see how I have used words.

I used words without saying a whole lot that is simple, plain, and easily comprehensible. I really did try to use three, four and five letter words, as much as possible. No matter how hard I tried, the meanings remain muddy and unclear. These words have meaning for me. I hope that they have a similar meaning for you. It does depend on how you ascribe meaning to the words you use.

Look at the last sentence which deals with your relationship with God. “You must experience God.” For this experience, you do not need a priesthood, a church, and hundreds of saints.

For this experience, you do not need pomp, ceremonies, and sacrifices.

For this experience, you do not need incense to hide the stink of the death of the sacrifices, incantations, and chants.

For this experience, you do not need celebrations, handle poisonous snakes, nor eat poisons and drugs.

For this experience, you do not need to make magic, perform rites, or any other claptraps of organized religion.

If the sentence had read, "You must experience a chocolate milkshake," the result is the same. You just eat it. You just do it. And the meaning is more clear.

You need only a desire for the relationship with God to exist, and it does exist for you.

Just that simple, no necessary added ingredients.

You don’t need angels to help you.

You don’t need saints to help you.

You can do it for yourself.

Don’t add water and microwave. No mixing, measuring and baking. Just desire a relationship with God. How well it works for you, depends on how much you practice achieving a relationship with God.

It is rather like practicing for the Friday night football game. Have a good game!
