God slaps you with a bit of soul when you are born. It may be, according to His will, that the soul loaned to you and others will be returned to life. The bits of the soul of His body are returned again to life. They can be reused, or recycled in multiple lives. Since all living things contain some of God’s essence, it is His choice if a bit of soul is recycled. It must be for His reasons if, where, how and why a recycled soul is returned for another trip through life. God might choose to teach patience. “Didn’t you get here a little early? Go for another spin around the course.” God might “punish” those who "sin". Like a coach sending a player for an extra lap. God might reward those who successfully fulfill God’s Plan. “Have another slice of blackberry pie.” Can we deny to God, His ability to select souls to recycle? Can't we allow Him to select those which having been returned to Him either successfully, or unsuccessfully? He might choose to give either another chance. He might select some souls to be specifically targeted with a particular purpose on an additional trip through life. Perhaps some souls are better at the task than others? Perhaps some need another lesson?
(c) Copyright 2006: George Wallace recently published a book on religion which lashes out at nearly all of the comfortable ideas about God, the trappings of organized religion, and the priesthood. His pithy comments and suggestions for a return to a God-centered personal religion will interest everyone.
