Can You Believe It? I didn’t. Not at first.

By: George Wallace

Osama bin Laden - Wanted Dead or Alive! Multiple million dollar bounty will be paid for an identifiable body in either condition.

And the CIA halts, stops, and disbands the special unit dedicated to hunting bin Laden down? Just what part of Republican Newspeak is this?

Are we just going to trust that eventually an informant on the other side will do a Jesse James on him?

This is not taking your eye off the ball. This is not a child’s game. This is serious business. This man masterminded the murder of 3,000 American citizens, and we are going to stop looking for him?

Is it that Osama is too valuable to the Republican Party as a scarecrow for the upcoming elections?

Osama and his frequent video tapes keep the electorate reminded as to whom is “protecting” them?

Trot him out every 30 days or so to scare the wadding out of all those feeble minded voters?

No wonder that the “hunt” for bin Laden has been so ineffectual. First you turn aside the army that was closing in on the murderer, and send them to another country. Second, you then pull back the remaining units that were closing in on his territory, “Good gadfrey they might accidentally drop an RPG in his lap!” Third, make sure the back door is not closed down so he can escape from his mountain retreat.

What ought we do with a Sheriff that stops looking for a mass murderer?

Yes! That is exactly the fate that George W. and the Republicans deserve this year, and in ‘08!
