The strength of your faith is not the question. I tend to believe that your faith is already strong. Faith bypasses reason. Faith is an emotional state. Faith can be more powerful than any other emotion. Faith can literally last longer than the time it takes for a large fire at your feet to burn away your skin, and to cook you to death in your own juices. We know this because organized religion has purposefully done this very act of sacrilege. Organized religion has purposefully done this to very large numbers of men and women throughout history. When the victims screamed, the priests joyously ran up and put more wood on the fire. They pretended that they were saving souls. Clerics will do anything that they think is right. They lack the honesty and moral fiber to doubt themselves. That is why clerics sell religion. Religion sells. “Here It Is. A new, better, vitamin packed, solar powered, mineral enriched, speedier, Angel Approved and Tested Path to Salvation of your Soul. A better way to say prayers that God will listen to and answer. Put it on your credit card. Call . . .” All you have to do is pay your money, and believe, and do as you are told. What has changed? Your money instead of going into your pocket, now goes into this pocket. False religious leaders will try to tell you what to think. False religious leaders try to tell you what to do. They will hold out their hands expecting you to place your money in their hands. This is how you will know them. Observe them with open eyes and a closed mouth. Keep the lock on your wallet firmly closed and the key in another pair of pants. They are attempting to steal with misdirection and quick words. You dutifully look on like a dumb domesticated food animal. They are attempting to steal your free will decision making. They are attempting to steal your substance. They are attempting to steal your wealth. Eventually they want the control of your soul. The soul, that part of God with which you alone are entrusted. They do not care about your soul. The proof of that, is their own behaviors. The proof of that is how they try to tell you what to think. The proof of that is how they try to tell you what to do. The proof of that is how they tell you to live your life. It is your life. God gives you this task. You must decide for yourself how to live it.
